Venture Growth Strategist, Founder Advisor and Professional Director

Amina Patterson is a Venture Growth Strategist, Founder Advisor and Professional Director (SA) with extensive experience helping entrepreneurs strengthen their business models, penetrate markets, raise capital and scale sustainably. As the founder of Solve4X and an Investment Committee member at E Squared, she has supported more than 70 founders and contributed to leading entrepreneurship and SMME development initiatives across South Africa.

Chief Operating Officer at ALX

Shana-Michelle is the Chief Operating Officer at ALX, where she leads organisational operations and works with the executive team to shape and deliver ALX Africa’s strategic priorities. She joined the African Leadership Group in 2016 as a faculty member at ALU and went on to hold leadership roles across leadership development, people operations, strategy, and the Chief of Staff function, working across multiple African markets. She transitioned into operations leadership in 2023, became COO in November 2024, and outside work enjoys family time, game nights, TikTok, and rewatching Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Actress, Producer and Founder of Long Story Long

Nozipho McLean is a South African-born actress, producer and founder of Long Story Long, a storytelling platform exploring the human journeys behind success, leadership and purpose. With over a decade of experience across film, television and cultural programming in the U.S., including roles in Smoke, Westworld and Divorce, she has worked at the intersection of African culture, global media and the diaspora. Now based in Johannesburg, Nozipho uses storytelling to amplify African voices, humanise leadership and challenge inherited narratives about who Africans are and who we are becoming.
